Hao Zhou is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, advised by Professor Mahanth Gowda. His research focuses on AI-powered mobile and wearable systems and representation learning for time-series, with applications in healthcare and accessibility using data from low-cost sensors. His work has been recognized with several honors, including Best Paper Awards and the Penn State Alumni Association Dissertation Award. He is currently a research intern at Samsung Research America, where he works on foundation models for multimodal sensory data.
